딕 트레이시 끔찍한 만나다 (1947) is one of the final entries (제휴 링크) 에 “B” 영화 시리즈. RKO 사진 공화국 사진에서 시리즈를 점령, 누가 1930 년대 후반과 1940 년대 초에 원래 딕 트레이시 연재물을 발표. RKO 그림 9 월에 극장에 영화를 발표 26, 1947. RKO는 끔찍한 재생에 보리스 칼로프을 가져, one of Dick Tracy’s arch nemesis.

Ralph Byrd reprises his role of Dick Tracy. Byrd played Tracy in Dick Tracy’s Dilemma (1947) and the four Republic Pictures serials. While I preferred Morgan Conway as Dick Tracy, Byrd also does a good job in the role. A little more brawny than Morgan Conway, he can credibly play Detective Tracy as a tough guy.

Boris Karloff steals the show as Gruesome, a recently paroled criminal, who partners with a chemist to commit bank robberies. Karloff is his menacing best as the cunning and cruel Gruesome. Pat Patton is no match for the recent parolee.

Like most of the Dick Tracy films, this one runs about an hour, moves at a good pace and is good fun.
