אויף אפריל 27, 2013, on what would have been his grandfather and namesake’s 71st birthday, קען “טריי” Zimmerman III became the first black belt in the Zimmerman Self-Defense System under his father Ken Zimmerman Jr.

“טריי” began studying martial arts shortly before his fifth birthday. “טריי” has trained in Taekwondo, דזשודאָ, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Gojo Shroei Weapons System. His goals going forward are to become Head Instructor of the Zimmerman Academy and spread this system of self-defense.

Over the next five years, Ken will be transitioning leadership of the academy over to “טריי” and his brother Caleb. “טריי” will become Head Instructor of the Zimmerman Academy between 18 און 21 יאר אַלט. We congratulate “טריי” on his accomplishment.
