On September 19, 2011, my oldest son Kenneth Zimmerman III and I founded the Zimmerman Academy, a martial arts school dedicated to instructing students in self-defense. Originally based around a more traditional taekwondo curriculum, the academy curriculum has involved into a more holistic self-defense system embracing striking, mynd i'r afael ac arfau.

Kenneth and Caleb Promoted to 2nd Black Rank and 1st Black Rank respectively.

Kenneth is transitioning into the role of Head Instructor as I transition into a mentoring role for Kenneth, my youngest son Caleb and the advanced belts they are training. Caleb oversees the kids’ program. We teach a group class on Monday night and will teach private students in the St. Ardal Louis.
