Adventures of Sherlock Holmes (1939)

Ida Lupino plays Ann Brandon, a socialite, who is either in danger or an accomplice of Moriarty. She accompanied her mother to the United States in the 1930s and began to land bit roles.

Her best film was probably High Sierra (1941) with Humphrey Bogart. Κα. Lupino made a number of movies in the 1940s and 1950s before switching to television. She died on August 3, 1995 of a stroke while battling cancer.
