Although the United States had not entered World War II yet, the inference is that Riner is a German agent. בסרט, agents of both the United States and Britain are pursuing Riner. Kane Richmond was born Fred Bowditch on December 23, 1906 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Among other characters he played Lamont Cranston aka the Shadow. A rather burly individual, he normally played the leading man in “ב '” סרטים. He married actress Marion Burns. The marriage appeared to be a happy one as they remained married until his death at age 66 on March 22,1972.
