Early mixed martial arts (MMA) contests were style versus style. I denna episod, we discuss a boxer versus wrestler bout between “Battling” Levinsky and Ray Steele.

I also discuss Sam McVey versus Tano Matsuda in a boxing versus jiu-jitsu match. We finish the discussion with Ad Santel versus Taro Miyake in a wrestling versus jiu-jitsu match.

Recension

We look at one of the few wrestler versus boxer matches on video. “Judo” Gene LeBell took on Milo Savage i 1963.
