The film illustrates the setting for most professional wrestling matches before the widespread use of wrestling rings in the 1920s.

I also discussed Hackenschmidt’s book, How to Live in Health and Strength (партнерская ссылка). Hackenschmidt tells his life story in the last half of the book.
