I discuss the first of three matches in 1926 between World Heavyweight Wrestling Champion Joe Stecher and John “Նեբրասկայի վագրը” Ավազ. Stecher and Pesek wrestled in St. Louis, Missouri on Thursday, Ապրիլ 29, 1926, for five hours before the referee raised Stecher’s hand.
