I discuss the first of three matches in 1926 between World Heavyweight Wrestling Champion Joe Stecher and John “Nebraska Kaplan Adamı” Kum. Stecher and Pesek wrestled in St. Louis, Missouri on Thursday, Nisan 29, 1926, for five hours before the referee raised Stecher’s hand.
