Emil Klank, Frank Gotch’s manager, wanted to schedule Gotch’s match with Stanislaus Zbyszko on Decoration Day, Majo 30, 1910.
Tamen, Chicago’s mayor refused to issue the permit because it would distract fans from decorating their relatives’ graves.
