Rip Roarin’ Buckaroo

Tom Tyler was a star of Westerns in the 1920s, 30s and 40s but he also starred in serials such as The Phantom (1943). He even played Kharis the Mummy in The Mummy’s Hand (1940). Madankollu, he was primarily a Western actor. He started out as an actor and stuntman in 1920s silent films. The Cowboy Cop (1926) was one of his early Western films. The manager, promoter, and opponent carry back to the dressing room and quickly try to leave. Scotty revives before they escape and realizes that they plotted to beat him. Scott knocks out his opponent, manager, and promoter before leaving.
Scotty quits the fight game to go work on a ranch. He befriends the rancher and his daughter. The promoter shows up and causes dissension between Scotty and the rancher. Scotty proves himself to the rancher by winning a race for the rancher after the rancher kicked Scotty off the ranch.
To save their ranch from the crooked promoter, Scott agrees to one more fight with his former opponent. Of course, the promoter will try every dirty trick to prevent the fight from happening.

Tom Tyler had been a professional boxer, sailor, lumberjack and champion weight lifter before he began his acting career. He was at his best in athletic action adventure films. Besides this film, which runs about 54 minuti, I would highly recommend The Phantom serial.
