Graham Soutten plays the one-legged criminal Jonathan Smalls. Soutten, who did have only one leg, added an interesting flourish to his character. He kicks his confederate with his wooden leg to put him back in his place. Smalls’ disability did not impede him. His dexterity with his wooden limb made him even more formidable.

Graham Soutten was born on August 7, 1891 во Лондон, England. I could not confirm whether Graham Soutten was born with one leg or if it was the result of an accident or a World War I injury. Soutten made a few films. He died in London in 1969 на 77 години.
