Main Content

On Monday, June 13, 1887, current American Heavyweight Wrestling Champion Evan “Strangler” Lewis wrestled English catch wrestler Tom Connors at the Grand Central Rink in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

3,000 fans turned out to see the mach betwen the heralded submission wrestlers. Outside interference from one of the wrestlers seconds marred the event.

The referee proved unable to cope with the situation and rendered one of the most outrageous decisions in professional wrestling history.

Review

I discussed Summerslam 2024 since Dan was unable to watch it. Dan takes issue with some of WWE’s booking decisions.
