في أبريل 27, 2013, on what would have been his grandfather and namesake’s 71st birthday, كين “تري” Zimmerman III became the first black belt in the Zimmerman Self-Defense System under his father Ken Zimmerman Jr.
Awarding “تري” his black belt on April 27, 2013.
“تري” began studying martial arts shortly before his fifth birthday. “تري” has trained in Taekwondo, الجودو, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Gojo Shroei Weapons System. His goals going forward are to become Head Instructor of the Zimmerman Academy and spread this system of self-defense.

Over the next five years, Ken will be transitioning leadership of the academy over to “تري” and his brother Caleb. “تري” will become Head Instructor of the Zimmerman Academy between 18 و 21 سنة. We congratulate “تري” on his accomplishment.
