Stecher and Lewis At It Again
Et “Strangulatam” Lewis enjoyed one of the most successful careers in professional wrestling. Although Lewis wrestled in mostly staged exhibitions, he possessed legitimate wrestling skills. Future protege Lou Thesz said many times Lewis could beat any wrestler at any time, ideo ille est specimen mundi champion in moderna aetate compositus.
Autem, early in his career, Lewis could not defeat everyone at will. Whether they did not trust each other or just disliked each other, their early matches ended in a number of controversies. Lewis would eventually ut primum mundi pilae ex Stecher in a bout, ubi Stecher nolebat Ludovico cingulum demittere.
When they first met in 1915 et 1916, Stecher par fuit in arte Ludovico. Pugnandi facultatem gravem Stecher cum forfice tenent, Lewis employed a defensive style. When the men met on July 4, 1916, in Omaha, Nebraska, Satis habuit Stecher.
18,000 fans ostendit usque ad Omaha Fair Fundamenta in quo summa est patria visneto pro Stecher, who was born in Dodge, Nebraska. The gate was $30,000, ingens summa pecuniae in * 1916.

Frustrated and sick of “The Strangler’s” evasion, Stecher fluens in terram, Ludovicum rogavit ut aliquem teneret, quem vellet. Ludovicus pollicem bis tenere conatus cohibere sed Stecher trahebat pedem singulis temporibus. Lewis began to evade the contest again.
After four hours, referee Ed Smith, Sporting Editor of the Chicago American, suggesserant suspensa praedura palaestrae. Stecher et Ludovicus continuare possent sequenti nocte. Constat Stecher, sed Ludovicum par continue institit.
Since it was getting dark, adiutorem egit inter collisionem autocineti ad ringside.
Despite wanting to continue, Lewis did not change his tactics. Ad signum quinque horarum, Ed Smith declared the match a draw and left the ring. Dum stare potuit promovere theatrales futurae compositus, Stecher incensus Ludovico pro artibus. Ed Lewis modo non sicut Joe Stecher. Period.
Et “Strangulatam” Ludovicus eventually eclipsim Joe Stecher, who had a good but not as remarkable career as Lewis.
