The Gorilla (1939)

The Gorilla (1939) is a comedy-mystery “B” kvikmynd (tengja hlekkur) starring the Ritz Brothers, Joseph Calleia, Bela Lugosi og Lionell Atwill. Myndin var framleidd af Twentieth-Century Fox áður en þeir hætta viðskiptavakt “B” kvikmyndir, the first film on a double bill.

The Ritz Brothers voru virkir á milli 1925 og 1960, þegar Al Ritz elsta bróðir lést. Þeir bræðr gáfu 16 kvikmyndir, allt “B” kvikmyndir, in the 1930s and early 1940s. After they quit making films, the brothers continued performing on stage and television. Al fengið hjartaáfall í 1965. While the remaining two brothers performed occasionally, it was said they never recovered from Al’s death.
